re: "Exhibit A", Convention Roll Sheets

The convention roll sheets provided in each Precinct Convention Packet are in triplicate and should be used first.  However, if your convention runs out of these triplicate forms, it is okay to use a photocopy of the official form provided by the Texas Democratic Party (TDP).  

Attached to this e-mail is the official TDP sign-out form; it is also available off their website at www.txdemocrats.org
Look under "Precinct Convention Information" on the top right of their website.

We suggest downloading and taking some copies of this form with you just in case your convention runs out of the triplicate forms.  Should this be the case and you end up using some single photo-copy sheets, the Travis County Democratic Party (TCDP) will make the required number of copies of these "Exhibit A, Convention Roll Sheets when you turn in your packet materials.

The following is from "TCDP Guidelines" which is available off the front of our website (www.traviscountydemocrats.org) and a copy will be in each precinct convention packet: 

14)      The Convention Chair keeps the blue copies of the Minutes and roll sheets ("Exhibit A").

 

15)     The Convention Chair returns the yellow and pink copies of the Minutes,the roll sheets (Exhibit A"), and the resolutions to the Travis County Democratic Party office at 1311 E. 6th Street within 3 days!!!  Please have all information back to the county party by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2008.  The white copy can be mailed to either  the Texas Democratic Party office in the envelope provided or be returned with the yellow and pink copies to the Travis County Democratic Party where TCDP staff can deliver the white copies to the TDP office here in Austin.

8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

It is mandatory that the TCDP receive back these packets containing all relevant precinct convention information so that the County Party will maintain a record of who is a delegate and alternate to the county convention as well as have a record of all the passed and failed resolutions.
