DEMOCRATIC ELECTED OFFICIALS HEALTH UPDATE 

This week has turned out to be a very busy time at an Austin area hospital as three of our DEO's are currently holding court (or perhaps a caucus!) there.  Please keep everyone in your thoughts for a speedy recovery this holiday season.

State House Representative, District 49
Representative Elliott Naishtat underwent heart surgery earlier in the week and is expected to have a full recovery.  If things go as planned, he should be home early next week, if not sooner.  All Get Well Wishes should be mailed to: 6401 Wilbur, Austin, TX 78757. 

Travis County Democratic Party Chair
TCDP Chair Chris Elliott, underwent hip surgery on Tuesday.  He is expected to be in the hospital until at least tomorrow, but the surgery went well.  If you would like to send Chris your best wishes, please send them care of the TCDP to P.O. Box 684263 Austin, TX 78768-4263 or e-mail the Party at info at traviscountydemocrats.org and your message will be forwarded to Chris' personal email. 

Judge Elect, 299th District Court
Yesterday evening around 8:30 p.m. Judge Charlie Baird and his wife became the proud parents of Olivia who arrived weighing in at a little over 8 lbs and measuring 21 inches in length.  From all reports, she is gorgeous.  Parents and baby are doing just fine.

TCDP OFFICE HOLIDAY CLOSINGS

TCDP will be open 9:00 am -12:00 pm on December 20th - 22nd (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).  

TCDP will be closed December 25th - January 1st.  We will reopen at 9:00 am on Tuesday, January 2nd.

Due to the shortened holiday schedule, there will be no E-Newsletter for the next two weeks.  

The regular Thursday TCDP E-Newsletter will resume on Thursday, January 4th, 2007.

Each time an AOL user hits the "Report Spam" button on a post from a list hosted by our webhost, we receive a "Client TOS Notification" from AOL.  If this happens, you will be automatically unsubscribed from the list. 

You are free to re-subscribe your address to our lists; however, if you chose to do so, please take the time to use caution or obtain an email address, such as a gmail address, from a different provider.  Please be careful when deleting messages.
