Nationally recognized expert comes to Austin and San Antonio

This coming Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25 the John Courage for Congress campaign, with sponsorship from Democracy for Texas, will host trainings in both Austin and San Antonio conducted by a nationally recognized expert on communications and activist training, Jon-Christopher Bua. Jon has worked with and trained many individuals and organizations, including Clinton/Gore, Kerry/Edwards, Vietnam Veterans of America, American Federation of Government Employees, American Civil Liberties Union, The Episcopal Church USA, and the United States Department of Energy. He will be focusing on delivering candidate's message through hands-on practice in voter contact. One will even learn how to present views effectively on talk radio. It promises to be fun! 

This four-hour training will be provided at no cost, and the instruction will be useful for any campaign staffer or volunteer. Space is limited, so if you would like to participate, RSVP as soon as possible to Teri Sperry at tsperry at courageforcongress.org, and be sure to indicate whether you'll attend in Austin or San Antonio. 



This is a great opportunity to learn and improve on speaking with voters, messaging, and much more from an easy-to-understand perspective.
