The Texas House of Representatives recently passed HB 4, a bill designed to limit the rights of Texans to access to courts. This bill was pushed through by corporations, insurance companies, and the medical lobby. The Republicans marched in lockstop with the Speaker, defeating amendment after amendment which would restore fairness to the bill. Our Travis County Democrats, Rep. Dawnna Dukes, Rep. Elliott Naishtat, and Rep. Eddie Rodgriguez all voted consistently for the rights of citizens and against this bill.

Now, this bill is in the Senate and we need everyone to take action against this attack on our rights.
