The mission of the Travis County Democratic Party is to elect Democrats to support the entire Democratic ticket each general election cycle. The TCDP works hard to turn out base Democratic voters in Travis County, increasing the overall Democratic voter turn out for the state of Texas while maintaining a Democratic stronghold in Travis County.
The TCDP works with all interested Democratic candidates to encourage voters to “Vote Straight Democratic” by running one of the largest and most successful coordinated campaign efforts each general election cycle.
The TCDP is one of the few local county parties in the state of Texas to run a year round administrative office with two full time staffers providing resources to all local Democratic activists, clubs and elected officials. The TCDP is run entirely off of donations made directly to the party and does not receive any funds from the national or state Democratic party.
