Sadler is Democrats’ chance for an upset
Austin American-Statesman Endorsement:
While the volume rises on talk of an upset in the Republican U.S. Senate runoff, supporters of Democrat Paul Sadler dream of an upset in November.
But first, Sadler has to avoid being upset in the Democratic runoff by Grady Yarbrough, the San Antonio educator who denied the heavily favored Sadler into a second round of voting.
Yarbrough’s campaign is a modest affair, but then so is Sadler’s.
We supported Sadler in May and are pleased to urge Democrats to choose him as their nominee.
