Coordinating Our Great 2012 Campaign!

July 31st, 2012

Andy Brown

Fellow Democrats,

Today is Election Day for the Democratic Primary Runoff. You must vote at your precinct polling place. All elections are important, so please, if you missed the early voting period, cast your ballot today. We have a race for Travis County Constable, a race for several precinct chair positions, and of course our statewide runoff for the Democratic nominee for United States Senate.

The General Election is less than 100 days away. From President Obama’s visit to Austin to our jam-packed Coordinated Campaign Kickoff, we have already had an exciting launch to the 2012 election season in Travis County.

Come by our Coordinated Campaign Headquarters at 2406 Manor Road. We have set impressive goals for our ground game and hired campaign staff that can help us reach those goals. Campaign Manager Jim Wick made his “On the Record with Diane Holloway” debut a few weeks ago, and today you will hear from Field Director Shawn Badgley . In the coming weeks we will introduce you to our new Regional Field Directors and Field Organizers.

Because of our explosive growth, the county is only 75 percent registered, and those who are not registered are likely to be Democrats. With your help, we can change the electorate, win every race on our ballot and have big victories in November. Sign up here to help.

Catch Olympic fever and have some fun! Today we launch our TCDP Olympics, which does not require either workouts or airfare! See how many of your friends and family members you can sign up to become Sustaining Members of the TCDP. We have Bronze, Silver and Gold categories for people who sign up 2, 5 and 10 Sustaining Members. Gold medalists will receive two complimentary admissions to our Senator Ralph Yarborough Judicial Retirement Reception on September 18th.  Simply send your friends and family this link and tell them to put your name in the ‘add a comment’ section so that you can get credit for their donation.  I will sing the TCDP Olympian’s praises in next week’s newsletter!

So as you cheer on the many Central Texas Olympians — such as swimmer Brendan Hansen, diver Troy Dumais, runners Sanya Richards-Ross and Leo Manzano, basketball great Kevin Durant, and, most importantly, U.S. Taekwondo Team Member Steven Lopez (who once gave me a bloody nose when I used to compete as a Blackbelt in Taekwondo) — you can also cheer on our great Democrats by competing in the TCDP Olympics.

Sincerely,

Andy Brown

One Response to “Coordinating Our Great 2012 Campaign!”

  1. Why is Obama NOT changing policy against Cuba?
Why is he afraid of losing votes in Florida?
Why not stand up for what is right instead?

I like this post and plan to contribute more in the future. In the meantime,
    check our Cuba travel website.
    Thanks
