Play a key role in winning every race in Travis County this cycle! Gain valuable campaign experience learning first-hand how to influence close elections! Be the engine of victory on Election Day! Become a Watson & Carpenter Fellow with TCDP!

Watson and Carpenter Fellows are paid organizers who engage in intense voter contact in crucial areas of Travis County by knocking on doors, making phone calls and organizing events. As a Fellow, your work will ensure that all of our down ballot candidates win this November, and also work to give Bill White the turnout levels he needs in Austin to win. Furthermore, you will have an opportunity to develop your new media, communications, and design skills through a series of special projects.

The program is named for Senator Kirk Watson, leader of our Travis County Democratic delegation, and Liz Carpenter, the late journalist and assistant to then-Vice President Lyndon Johnson. Follow in the footsteps of these hard-working Democrats, and help us make a better future for all Texans!
